2. Dorothea Dix’s Park
My favorite time to visit Dorothea Dix’s Park is during sunflower season. Every Spring, the city of Raleigh plants sunflower seeds at the Sunflower Field at Dix Park. These sunflowers typically bloom in early to mid-July. It is an amazing time to come and take some amazing Instagrammable photos at the sunflower fields. The Sunflower Field is open to the public seven days-a-week, from dawn until dusk. The best thing is that dogs are allowed year round, so if you are traveling with your dog bring him along for an epic photoshoot.
If you are not coming to Raleigh during Sunflower season, do not worry as Dix’s park also offers an stunning view of Raleigh’s skyline. During the Spring you can enjoy a beautiful field full of daffodils. Dorothea Dix’s Park is easily another one of the top Instagrammable places in Raleigh.

4. All are Welcome Raleigh NC mural
Our favorite mural and for sure one of the most Instagrammable places in Raleigh is the “All Are Welcome Raleigh” mural. Although it has recently been redone, it has still the same powerful message. It has become an unofficial welcome sign to downtown Raleigh.
Tip: The mural is located in a parking lot, so if you want to take photos without cars go very early in the morning or later during the day.
Location: 428 S McDowell St, Raleigh, NC 27601
5. Globe at the Natural Science Museum
We think the most Instagrammable building in Raleigh has to be the Globe outside the Natural Science Museum. It is unique and super cool. No matter what angle you choose you are going to get an insta-worthy shot for sure. You can visit the Natural Science Museum, North Carolina Museum of History and the Globe for free! If you choose to visit the Natural History Museum go to the top floor to take insta-worthy photos surrounded by live butterflies and even a sloth.

The Raleigh Rose Garden is such a beautiful oasis in downtown! This public garden is located behind the Raleigh Little Theater.
